I am in the process of painting up a unit of the Vampire Count's Grave Guard for display at one of the local Gameshops. the nice folks at Gamer's Haunt in Weaverville told me that i could put up a display in one of their glass displays, so after i get these Grave Guards painted up all pretty i'll run by there and see if i can display them for local buyers to see first hand.
so far they have a nice, classic bone-on-red color scheme, with copious amounts of Delvan Mud, which is by far my favorite wash of all time. if you have something and need some depth, add the Mud. if you have some skeletons and you want them to look dirty and rotted, fresh from the grave, add the Mud. if you want some Ogre's armor to look rusty and caked with past meals, ADD THE MUD. LOTS AND LOTS OF MUD.
